This beautiful marionette seems to have stepped out of a fairy tale. Her body is decorated with original antique fabrics that only add to her mystique. Note the details in the form of wrinkles that are evident on her face and neck. Even her arms and feet are thought through to the last detail. All of this creates a completely original marionette from a bygone era.

Karel Krob Karel Krob (1904 - 1974) originally trained as a shoemaker, but from a young age he was fascinated by the puppetry world. That is why he also devoted all his free time to carving and making marionettes. He continued the tradition of Czech puppeteers, because he carved marionettes as he remembered them from the marionette shows of his childhood. Initially, he made marionettes only for the pleasure of his children, acquaintances and friends. Later, he carved marionettes for puppet ensembles, including the Spejbl and Hurvínek Theater. Today, his works are represented in a number of museum and private collections and puppet ensembles.
