Martin embarked on a unique theme - marionettes stylized as an Egyptian goddess. So if you were looking for a Chinese zodiac or a film Planet of the Apes for inspiration for this small work of art, this time your tip didn't work out. Do you try to guess the goddess a monkey woman represents? No specific. The inspiration was the god Thovt, who is sometimes depicted as the Sacred Ibis, sometimes as a sitting baboon. And why couldn't a goddess look like a monkey?
Women under the Monkey sign are dashing, spirited, easy-going, friendly, warm, and cheerful. In daily life, they are enthusiastic, smile to their families and friends, and know how to enlighten others with positive energy.
This marionette truly stands out. The whole creation is precisely hand-carved from linden wood, highly varnished, and the body is anatomically perfect. She has a very fine and delicate appearance.
It’s adorable and so much fun to play with. My 4 year old loves watching the marionette dance!
